The User undertakes to ensure that all information has been entered onto the

be responsible for any loss of data resulting from delays, corruption of data,

Property HIP Services Ltd. gross negligence or wilful misconduct, neither
we nor any of its subsidiaries or network service

theft or destruction of user provided information as a result of a breach in
security, or through accidental or divisive means. In no event will we be liable or responsible to users of the service for any type of
incidental, punitive, direct, indirect or consequential damages, including, but
not limited to, loss of revenue, lost profits, replacement goods, loss of
technology, rights or services, loss of data, or interruption or loss of use of
service or equipment, even if advised of the possibility of such damages,
whether arising under theory of contract, tort (including negligence), product
liability, strict liability or otherwise. Notwithstanding anything to the
contrary in this agreement, Property HIP Services Ltd. maximum liability under
this agreement for all damages, losses, costs and causes of actions from any and
all claims (whether in contract, tort, including negligence, quasi-contract,
statutory or otherwise) shall not exceed the actual pound sterling amount paid
by the Customer for the Services which gave rise to such damages, losses and
causes of actions during the 3-month period prior to the date the damage or loss
occurred or the cause of action arose.
Client’s responsibilities
The client should be present at the property at the agreed date and time
unless other arrangements have been made and agreed 48 hours in advance. Provide
safe access to all areas of the dwelling and make sure all animals are kept
under control and don’t hinder or endanger the assessor during the course or the
inspection. Ensure children remain
under parent or guardian supervision during the assessment
(equipment used for the assessment may cause harm in the wrong hands). Provide
where possible documented evidence of the property’s build date, any replacement
windows, extensions, insulation, cavity wall insulation, room in loft,
combi/boiler installation. If you have trouble finding any of the documentation
don’t worry. The more documents you can find the more information can be
recorded. It is the client responsibility to ensure all areas are accessible for
assessment this includes: - all radiators, heaters, fires, boilers, hot water
cylinders, gas and electric meters, it is advisable for the client to open the
loft space access for the assessor. Inaccessible loft space will record as “no
access” & insulation “unknown”.
Complaints Procedure
Property HIP Services will seek to immediately address and resolve any
initial complaint by telephone, email or in person. Should you be unhappy with
our response you can put the complaint in writing to the Property HIP Services
head office at 54 Market St. Tottington, Bury, Lancashire. BL8 3LJ. Your complaint will be
acknowledged via telephone, email or writing within 7 days of receipt, and a resolution will
be offered within 21 days of receipt. If you are dissatisfied with the
resolution we offer, the complaint will be referred to the Elmhurst Energy Systems
Accreditation Scheme, 16 St Johns Business Park Lutterworth Leicestershire LE17
4HB. Under no circumstances will the client be deprived of their legal rights.
The complaint to Elmhurst Energy Systems can be made at any time. All complaints
will be investigated and dealt with at no cost to the consumer.
